An immersive multimedia spectacular that re-envisions contemporary and classic pieces for piano, bringing them alive through the radical and revelatory approach of Ars Electronica. Dennis Russell Davies and Maki Namekawa will perform innovative works with live visualisations, including ‘Four Movements for Two Pianos’ by Philip Glass, Steve Reich’s ‘Piano Phase’, and Maurice Ravel’s ‘Mother Goose’, – a piece co-commissioned by Abu Dhabi Festival the LA Phil and Ars Electronica, premiered in 2016 at Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
