Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, the French Embassy to the UAE and Institut français present TRANCE-FORMS. This performance is shaped by an extensive theatrical training programme of UAE-based performers by Emirati and French theatre experts. Designed to provide a unique opportunity for talent across the country, this artistic programme will profile a novel generation of theatrical performers in order to pave the way for the emergence of an experimental and innovative theatrical group in the UAE.
The concept behind the theatrical performance is inspired by the cosmopolitan multiple talents, and the common youthful energy observed in the auditions. Similarly, the performance will encapsulate the evolution of Abu Dhabi as a city, and the UAE as a country, through portraying the universal concepts of youth, memory and love through dances, music, poems, life stories, and recitals from both Arabic and French classical literature.
The play will be in French, English and Arabic, with subtitles.
