Known affectionately as ‘the little orchestra’, Pink Martini are a rollicking around-the-world musical adventure. Founded in 1994 to revolutionise the lacklustre ambience of political parties and fundraisers, the band cross classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop genres, performing music from all over the world. Since then, the rotating cast of musicians and their multilingual repertoire have refreshed the most glamorous international stages. Bringing their warm charm and enchanting glamour to Abu Dhabi, lead singer China Forbes will be joined by guest stars Ari Shapiro, host of NPR’s All Things Considered, designer Ikram Goldman and Timothy Nishimoto.
